EcoHouse is an effort to be more than green. It embodies envirobility, but is more than the ability to be part of the environment. To Ecohouse, a building must really work. For us, architecture must relinquish its ivory towers to address the numerous challenges posed by natural and social ecology. This attitude shows in all our solutions, whether you need the smallest remodeling or a completely new design to match your lifestyle.
With over 25 years of combined construction and design experience, the husband and wife team of EcoHouse, LLC have continually provided high quality, intelligent construction and design to numerous satisfied clients. We are licensed residential contractors, registered Architects, and LEED accredited professionals allowing us to provide almost any comprehensive building and home improvement services. Our projects have included residential construction and remodeling from houses to apartments and town homes, as well as, numerous commercial ventures including bed and breakfasts, churches, retail, hotels, schools, multi-use commercial buildings, resorts, restaurants, offices, manufacturing facilities and warehouses. In all of our ventures we have a passion for green design, and make every effort to make all of our buildings, renovations and designs energy efficient and environmentally conscious.

Rodney Collins, LEED AP
With a skill for making the imagined tangible and an eye for detail, Rodney Collins has been designing and building high quality custom homes and various commercial projects for over two decades. Rodney is a registered architect in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas, as well as, a licensed residential contractor. Awarded the Arrant Medal for Most Promise to the Profession by Rice University, he earned a BArch in 1990, an MBA in 1995 and in 2001 he attained a JD from the University of Houston Law Center.
American Institute of Architects has given Rodney both Design Awards and President Citations for Service. Rodney has been involved in community service as a Director on the Board of the Houston Chapter of AIA, Chair of Residential Design Committee, member of the Greater Houston Builders Association, Partners Committee of the Rice Design Alliance, and Honors Committee of the Texas Society of Architects.
Christi Collins
With a passion for the sustainability and bio design, Christi's studies range from Biology to Art and Architecture. She graduated from the University of Houston in 2006 with a BArch and a B.S. in Environmental Design. Graduating with honors, as well as, being awarded the Undergraduate Design Award along the way. Her professional career has allowed her International experience being involved in various high rise to mid rise commercial and residential design in Europe, South and Central America, as well as, throughout the United States.
